What Is It?

DC 6074 applies when corrected visual acuity is 5/200 in one eye (near-total blindness) with 20/50 in the other eye. The severely impaired eye has almost no functional vision while the better eye has mild impairment. This rates at 30 percent. Veterans with severe unilateral eye injuries from blast, penetrating trauma, or disease may fall into this category.
