Diagnostic Code 6066 · 38 CFR §4.79
DC 6066 applies when corrected visual acuity is 20/100 in one eye and 20/70 in the other eye. This asymmetric vision loss means the better eye still has moderate impairment while the worse eye has significant difficulty with detail vision. This combination rates at 30 percent.

| 30% | Corrected visual acuity of 20/100 in one eye and 20/70 in the other eye. |
Visual acuity testing of each eye individually with best correction, documentation of the condition causing asymmetric vision loss, and functional impact statements.
The VA rating tables account for the overall functional impact. Some asymmetric combinations rate the same as certain bilateral levels because the functional limitation to the veteran is comparable.
